Grants for research, development and innovation in the field of the environment
Are you planning to carry out an environmental research or development project? Is your project focused on the most advanced environmental technologies and practices or eco-innovations? If yes, then the upcoming public competition of the ENVIRONMENT FOR LIFE programme, which is open in 2 sub-programmes, is a great opportunity for you.
Companies from all over the Czech Republic, incl. Prague can apply. The maximum amount of subsidy they can receive for their research, development and innovation projects will be specified soon, as well as the maximum level of support.
They can fund, for example:
- personal costs including scholarships
- costs of tools and equipment in the form of tax depreciation
- costs of contract research, technical knowledge and patents
- indirect and other operating costs, including costs of materials, supplies and similar products
Sub-programme 1
Innovation and operational research in the public interest
It aims to simplify and streamline public administration and improve environmental and climate governance and regulation.
Sub-programme 2
New solutions for the economy, environment and society
This sub-programme is open to businesses planning projects focused on environmental technologies and eco-innovation, projects oriented towards innovative approaches with practical applicability that mitigate the impacts of climate change, reflecting the protection of natural resources and trend-oriented to current environmental challenges.
Specific examples of each topic are:
- new technological solutions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions
- innovative energy saving solutions
- waste prevention, product reuse
- increasing the efficiency of water use in production
