Proof of concept: opportunity to validate the potential of your project

Would you like to introduce new products or services to the market, but you are not sure if your project will be successful? Now you can test the market potential of your research or development project with the help of a grant from the Proof of concept programme, which has just been announced.

Support will be given to all activities that lead to the verification of the potential of new R&D results before they are put into practice.

Applicant

The applicant can be SMEs outside the territory of Prague.

What can be subsidised

Eligible costs include:

• costs associated with the feasibility study: personnel costs, costs of tools, instruments and equipment in the form of tax depreciation, consultancy and external professional services, licences purchased or acquired from third parties, other operating and overhead costs, materials
• the cost of seconding staff from the research organisation to the applicant to participate in research and development activities
• costs of obtaining and validating patents and licences

Amount of subsidy

The amount of the subsidy ranges from 1 million to 50 million CZK.
